Top SkinCare Habits You Need To Add To Your Droplist

You can't deny how obsessed you are with your skin when it glows and you are proud to share its secret to admirers. But what happens when you can't find the regular product you use?

That's why, maintaining or building up your skin glow with healthy habits is key. So you don't get hitched at the supermarket when your skin care product is not available.

1. Switch Handkerchief for Facewipes

When sweat comes, you're most likely to use handkerchief to wipe off. Sweat dermatologically is considered a waste product. Therefore, it carries germs.

Rather than using handkerchief which you are obviously going to use again and again before washing, why not go for face wipes.

Facewipes are disposable, soft and gentle on the skin.

2. Sunglasses When Sunny

Dark circles are caused due to stress, fatigue and heat. Not only to protect your eyes but when its sunny, try out a pair of sunglasses to prevent dark circles.

3. Rehydrate With Water

Drink lots of water daily, don't wait to be thirsty. Drink at least 8glasses of water in a day. Medical practitioners, recommends to “drink water from a blue coloured bottle”, since it has a cooling effect.

Water aids digestion, hydrate skin cells and help in healing broken skin.

3. Don't Ignore Fruits And Vegetables

For a healthy skin, you need lots and lots of vitamins. Vitamins are supplied in fruits and vegetables. Fruits such as watermelon, cucumber, orange, lemon, strawberry, avocado and grapefruit can come to the rescue when building or maintaining a healthy skin.

4. Don't Be Lazy With Exercise

Exercise regularly. Running, jogging and yoga will give your body the necessary blood circulation, and also accelerate the cleansing process of your entire body. You will notice a glow on your face after working out. Racing against time? Just take a brisk walk around the house.

5. Wash Off

After a rough or pretty day, don't forget to wash off the stress. Never sleep with the stress on.

Note: Do not use your body soap for your face. Have a face soap!

6. Edibles?

Keep a note of what you put on your plate. Eat fresh fruits, greens, sufficient protein and vitamins. A diet rich in vitamin C and low in fats and sugar promotes radiant skin. Consider a low-sugar diet, which can keep insulin levels down, allowing cells to maintain a healthy balance.

7. Can't Go To The Spa?

Have a regular skin care regimen. “You can make a banana face pack by mashing half a banana with one teaspoon of honey and one tablespoon of yogurt. Apply it on your face evenly. Leave it on for 20 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water.

8.  Rest like A Baby

Try to sleep at least 8 hours every night. If you don’t get enough shut eye, your skin gets tired just like you - it sags and you get bags. So don’t risk it.

Adding these routines to your lists can't go without you understanding your skin type. You have to know the type of you have, dry? Oily? Quite in-between?. Understanding your skin type helps to know what product suit you best.

Also, Practice stress management techniques like breathing exercises, yoga and meditation. The more you meditate, the more you radiate.
